A site visit was conducted by CREATE in collaboration with Panas Express and the Facilities Management Office to the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FTMK) to discuss and inspect the electrical wiring circuit at the AI-powered 24-hour convenience store.

Also present: Director of CREATE Dr. Johanna binti Abdullah Jaafar, Mr. Abu Zar (Panas Express), and Mr. Khairudin (PPF) who provided technical advice regarding safety and electrical wiring.

SESI PENYERAHAN DANA ZAKAT BANK RAKYAT UNIPRENEUR 5.0

This program is a social finance initiative resulting from a collaboration between the Centre for Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurship (CREATE), the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs (HEPA), and Bank Rakyat. It focuses on Asnaf and B40 students at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) who have a business or are interested in entrepreneurship.

Through this program, 20 selected Asnaf and B40 students received RM3,000 each in Zakat funding to help start or expand their businesses, in line with the goal of promoting sustainable and Shariah-compliant student entrepreneurship.

The event began with a signing ceremony officiated by the Director of CREATE, followed by the arrival of YBhg. Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Massila binti Kamalrudin, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UTeM, accompanied by YBhg. Professor Madya Datuk Dr. Sabri bin Mohamad Sharif (HEPA UTeM).

The highlight of the event was the official handover of the Bank Rakyat Unipreneur 5.0 Zakat Fund by YBhg. Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Massila binti Kamalrudin, followed by a presentation of mementos as a symbol of appreciation and continued strategic collaboration.

• Assistant Branch Manager: Mr. Ahmad Fariduddin bin Raman
